Membership: Completed membership forms will be treated as confidential and will be used to communicate events and in the case of emergency.
Register: Is taken every session, to include name of parent/carer, name(s) and age(s) of child(ren), in case of emergency.
Responsibilities of parents/carers: Whilst parents/carers are responsible for their child(ren) at all times, they are welcome to ask staff to support them during the sessions.
Staff: Are volunteers from the church community who are there to plan and run the sessions, and look after the parents and carers to ensure they have some quality time. All volunteers that spend time with the babies and children have undergone Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks, [formerly Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) Disclosure] and have a variety of qualifications including those in the Early Years and Children's workforce.
Confidentiality: All volunteers abide by the confidentiality policy of the Baby and Toddler Cafe; please ask to see the policy which explains when confidentiality may need to be breached.
